Catching Dreams with Maja

Good morning everyone, welcome to the ScrapBerry's blog today :-)

For my today's post I made a card that would be perfect for birthday, as we often wish: "May all your dreams come true". And so I thought a dream-catcher would be a good motif to go with those wishes :-)

I used the Words Are Forever papers for a delicate vintage look. I die-cut all elements from the collection papers, added light brown vintage ribbon and a Secret no.1 button:

To be honest, I was looking through various collections to find the papers for the card. But...I couldn't make up my mind, as I kept thinking: Oh, this collection would look really nice with my design. Or...perhaps this one?
And so I made some more cards with my top picks ;-))

The Primavera collection:

The Garden of Delights collection:

The Nature's Spirit collection:

Here's what I used:
Double-sided paper 12"*12" 190 gsm, Words Live Forever, Tonite on Broadway
Double-sided paper 12"*12" 190 gsm, Words Live Forever, New York Headlines
Shabby ribbon, light brown, 10mm, 1m
Paper Collection Set 12"*12" Nature's Spirit 190 gsm
Paper Collection Set 6"*6" Primavera 190 gsm 12 sheets
Paper Collection Set 12"*12" Garden of Delights 190 gsm
Set of embellishments №3 Forest Friends
Set of embellishments № 1 Delight
Set of embellishments № 2 Secret
Shabby ribbon, fresh green, 10mm, 1m
Shabby ribbon, aquamarine, 10mm, 1m
Shabby ribbon, tiffany, 10mm, 1m

I really like how the look changes with different papers, even though the design is exactly the same!
And which one is your favourite?

Floral Bird Card by Tracey Sabella

It's Tracey back with a sweet spring card featuring ScrapBerry's Garden of Delights Collection and paper flowers. I have a dear friend who adores birds, so the images in this collection were just perfect to create a lovely card for her.

Close-Ups
This sweet cluster includes a ScrapBerry's Cherry Blossom and Stemmed Lily as well as a Bird on the Perch Charm. The Cards 1 page included this darling bird image. I added a chipboard frame and wood birdcage from my stash to go along with the bird theme.

I rubbed pink metallic paint and gold wax onto the darling charm. The background is stenciled with molding paste and spritzed with color mist to add texture.

This piece is molded with paper clay, painted with metallic paint then rubbed with gold wax. I created more texture on the background with cheesecloth, mesh, Prills, pearls, and rhinestones.

A Blue Card by Romy

Hi!
I hope you've had a wonderful Easter weekend so far! It's Romy here and I would like to show you a monochromatic blue card I made with various ScrapBerry's products, mainly from the Rhapsody in Blue collection.

All papers I used are from the Rhapsody in Blue collection. Besides, the tiny butterflies were cut out from papers from the Butterflies collection. I also used a metal clock and a flair button from ScrapBerry's in the center of my card.

To finish off my card, I added a polymer frame and a polymer bird on the right side of my card.

ScrapBerry's Supply List:

Spring Garden Mixed Media Card by Tracey Sabella

It's Tracey here with a spring garden themed birthday card to share with you today. We have a dear friend who owns a garden center, and the gorgeous ScrapBerry's Garden of Delights Collection paired with beautiful flowers, metal dragonfly, and polymer watering can worked perfectly to create a card for her.

Close-Ups
Lots of ScrapBerry's flowers and embellishments arranged for this main cluster. I painted the polymer flourish, flower and watering can with metallic paint and rubbed with art wax to bring out the textures. I trimmed two cards from the Cards 2 page then distressed the edges for a base to build the cluster on as well as fussy cutting flowers from the Cards 1 page to tuck in among the dimensional flowers.

This dragonfly from the Wind of Travel Metal Charms Set is so sweet! I painted the wings with metallic acrylic paint then rubbed the body and raised areas on the wings with gold art wax.

Stenciled texture is added with texture paste. Once dry I spritzed with green color mist to bring out the texture, then spattered with white ink. More texture is added below the cluster with prills and microbeads. I also scattered Colorful Dreams Brads along with sequins from my stash.

I hope you've been inspired to grab your ScrapBerry's supplies
to create a spring card for someone special in your life.

The Spring Has Come

Good morning, dear Visitors, to the ScrapBerry's blog :)

So yesterday the astrological spring began, although you wouldn't say that looking out of the window here in Poland ;-) I live in the warmest city of the country and still the snow lays knee-high and it's colder than it was in January! But I made a spring card anyway to celebrate the spring coming, perhaps it will make it come in real life ;-)

I used the In Bloom papers which I layered in the background and decorated with various embellishments, such as delicate Summer Joy and Wind of Travel brads:

...and beautiful resin flower basket from the French Journey collection and violet cherry flowers:

I also used the papers to die cut some elements: brick pieces, the ornate frame, flower leaves and the sentiment:

And here are all the supplies I used:
One-sided paper 12"*12" 190 gsm, In Bloom Pretty In Pink
One-sided paper 12"*12" 190 gsm, In Bloom Spring Notes
One-sided paper 12"*12" 190 gsm, In Bloom Rose Garden
One-sided paper 12"*12" 190 gsm, In Bloom Kaleidoscope
Set of brads 17 pcs Summer Joy 1
Set of brads "Wind of Travel", green, grey, 16pcs
Set of polymer items French journey 3
Cherry Blossom (10 piece set) Violet

So, can you feel the spring? :-)

See you soon!
