Getting crafty this weekend!

Today we would like to inspire you to get crafty this weekend by sharing a gorgeous project with you that was made by DT member Maja Nowak. She made this adorable pop-up box card with the lovely My Little Star collection.

ScrapBerry's Supply List:
My Little Star 12x12 Paper Collection
My Little Star 6x6 Paper Collection

"The My Little Star collection is just perfect for any baby project. Could those bunnies be any cuter? Apart from the beautiful papers in pastle colours, there are plenty of images to cut out that make any project so much easier to create. I wanted to use as many of them as possible for my baby card and so I decided to try and make a pop-up box card for the irst time. It wasn't as difficult as I was afraid it would be. In fact I enjoyed the process very much."

"I used both the 12x12" and the 6x6" papers to display the patterns best. I chose the imags to fit a card for a baby girl, but there are more to be used for a boys' card as well."

Masculine Cards by Yasmin

Hi ScrapBerry's fans!

Today we would like to show you two beautiful, masculine cards that were made by the awesome Yasmin Tölche. One of these cards was already shared at the beginning of this month for our challenge, but we will still share both because they make a great set. Let's have a look at what she created with our Edge of Town collection and matching embellishments.

"I've used the Egde of Town collection witch is perfect for those masculine, grungy cards. I added paper strips from the 6x6" Paper Pad and embellished with different Scrapberry's embellishments, like the translucent leaves, chipboard gears and that handsome moustache."

"Finishing this card, I splashed some paints on top just to give it an extra grungy look. Like you see, I love to layer my embellishements using twine, wire and staplors to underline the effect."

"Since I made my cards in a duo, I'll share my card made for the challenge with you as well. They are made from the same products. But instead of making a vertical card, I made a horizontal one this time."

"The same papers were used on this one as well. It is so easy to make two cards and to just use the left-over pieces of the first one"

ScrapBerry's Supply List:

"Egde of Town" 6x6" Paper Pack
Skeleton Leaves - Brown Natural
Cork Sticker - Auto Mechanic
Metal Trinkets

Thank you for stopping by today!

Lots of Shabby Chic Layers on 2 Gorgeous Cards

Hi ScrapBerry's fans!
We simply can't wait to share two gorgeous shabby chic projects with you that our design team made to show on our blog. Tracey Sabella worked magic with our Holiday Romance collection and made a gorgeous card with it. DT member Anna Zaprzelska also created an amazing shabby chic project, but she used a  more fresh colour combination from our Art of Nature collection.

Let's first have a look at Tracey's wonderful project.

"Hi everyone! It’s Tracey here to share a mixed media card featuring the gorgeous Holiday Romance Collection. My sister adores her two cats and this sweet image from the collection reminds me of her as a child, so I just had to use it to create a birthday card for her."

"ScrapBerry’s has such lovely flowers. For this cluster I included a mix of paper flowers, and flowers cut from the Mementos image sheet, resin flowers, a metal Rosebud Charm I painted with gesso then colored with mist and sanded to allow the metal to show through on the edges. The fussy cut images are inked to give them even more of a vintage feel and the paper flowers were lightly dry brushed with white gesso."

"Here’s the cluster from the top of the page. I also included a polymer flower from the Fairy Tale collection. I adore mixed media texture, so in diagonal corners I stenciled music notes with molding paste that I sprinkled with raspberry embossing powder and heat embossed."

"I couldn’t resist creating a double loop bow to flow across the bottom of the card using ScrapBerry’s luscious Silk Ribbon."

"Here’s a close up of the sweet girl and kitten image. Of course I just had to tuck in the Cat’s Best Friend Flair."

"The base layer is from the 6x6 Holiday Romance Paper Collection. I dry brushed it with gesso and added a bit of blue mist, then stamped with the ScrapBerry’s Butterflies stamp that has a lovely script image. The edges are inked in brown to add to a vintage feel. I scattered a few gems from my stash across this corner."

I then fussy cut several cats and dogs from one of the papers and arranged them on the bottom of my card. I further embellished my card with a metal and a cork clock, a flair button and a few wood hearts and pearls.

"My second card also features papers from the wonderful A Furry Little Story collection. Being a cat lover, I'm seriously in love with this collection. I again arranged different layers of paper on my card, as well as a fussy cut heart, cat and sentiment. I used two flair buttons and several pearls as a finishing touch.

Beautiful Album with the In Bloom Collection

Hi ScrapBerry's fans!
Today we would like to provide you with some inspiration with the In Bloom collection. We will show you a wonderful noteboo cover that was altered with these wonderful papers.

The notebook itself was covered with fabric, but there were also several pieces of paper attached on top of it. The pastel tones in the In Bloom collection give this notebook a wonderful and magical look.

Several flowers, a resin cherub and some ribbon were used to decorate the notebook.
You could of course also use the papers to decorate the inside of your album, if you'd like to do so.

Have a happy day with lots of joy and crafting!

Beautiful Card by Rhonda van Ginkel

Today we will share a gorgeous project with you that was made by our amazingly talented design team member Rhonda van Ginkel. She made a wonderful, romantic card with our Holiday Romance collection and lots of ScrapBerry's embellishments.
Let's have a look!

"It’s Rhonda here to share my project with you. I have a soft and romantic card to share with you featuring the Holiday Romance collection by ScrapBerry's. If you adore vintage designs like I do, I think you will love this collection!"

"To begin, I started cutting a few images from the Mementos paper. I selected some florals and the vintage girl image with the florals. Once I had those focal pieces chosen, I looked for a Flair Metal Embellishment for a coordinating sentiment."

"Once I selected those elements, I knew I wanted to frame the image in nicely, so I looked in my library of personal dies and found a few that would layer nicely. I used some of my 6x6 papers for these layers. After I selected layered them together, I felt that the background needed just a little more interest.

I cut one more frame layer from vellum and tacked down in the corners. It is very subtle but adds a lot to the shabby feel of the card."

"The top frame layer is adhered using foam square adhesive. This allows room to tuck and layer my cut out florals. I added more florals, including a Cherry Blossom which I touched lightly with Spun Sugar Distress Ink to add a bit of depth. Finishing touches are the White Shabby Ribbon bow and the clock."

ScrapBerry’s Supply List:
Holiday Romance 6x6" Paper Collection
Holiday Romance 12x12" Paper Collection
Fairy Tale Resin Flowers
Versailles Resin Flowers
Light Rose Cherry Blossom Flower
Flair Metal Embellishments No. 2 Forever
Wind of Travel Set of Clock
Metal Embellishments No. 2 Forever
Shabby Ribbon in White

I hope you enjoyed my creation. Thank you so much for stopping on over and spending a moment here on the blog with us today!

A Gorgeous Lay-Out & Tag on Sunday

Today we have two brand new and very beautiful projects to share with you. Irit Shalom made a gorgoeus lay-out with our In Bloom collection and Denise van Deventer is sharing a wonderful tag that she made with lots of ScrapBerry's stamps.

Let's first have a look at Irit's amazing lay-out and see what she has to say...

"Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my first ever post as a Scrapberry's design team member.
My name is Irit, I am an Israeli designer and mixed media artist and I am totally thrilled to be a part of such a talented design team.
I don't scrap too much lately, but do mostly mixed media and altered items.
But with the Scrapberry's fantastic paper collections and embellishments and my dear 3-year-old granddaughter Netta I felt that I had to scrap and so this layout was born."

"This layout was done in circles and with circles.
First I made a few circled cuts on the basic cardstock and then added a sheet of patterned cardstock on the back with 3d foam glue.
The hand-doodled stitches were added with a purple pen around every circle and a bit around the corners as well.
Both photos were die-cut with a circle die and glued over the background ones.
The whole embellishment cluster was added from the top of the page to the bottom along a few cardstock strips and was surrounded with more die cut stitched circles.
As my photos were in purple and light blue and the In Bloom paper collection has those two colors in it, I used blue and purple inks to highlight the edges of most of my paper pieces."

"This close-up shows the dimension of the circles and the doodled stitches.
The white flower was colored with Ranger distress ink (Dusty Concord) to make it match the layout colors."

"On this close-up you can see the chipboard word Happy as my title, painted with distress ink and heat embossed with clear embossing powder and then embellished with some embellishment dots in one of the colors in the photos.
The embellishment cluster was made from hand cut cardstock flowers, die cuts of patterned paper butterflies, some smaller resin flowers, one crystal sticker and one painted bird chipboard on top."

"I die cut some journaling cards into the circle shape and added them as the top journaling point."

"On the lower left corner I made a whole jourunaling spot with hand cut sayings from the Cards 1 and Cards 2 sheets. Then some butterflies were stamped with the same blue and purple inks (with pink ink add-on) on the so-called white space on the layout."
