A Summer Joy Card by Maja

Hello everyone, welcome to the ScrapBerry's blog :-)

I'd like to share a sweet baby card I made using the Summer Joy collection.

This collection is mainly for girly projects, with sweet pink and green tones and delicate patterns. But I still managed to select some papers for a purely boy card ;-) I layered them and added some die-cut banners and brads from the collection set:

I tied white vintage ribbon around the background panel. From the diecuts set I chose this cute button sentiment:

The main decorative element of the card is the sewed watercolour paper panel onto which I stamped the bunny sailor image and coloured it with Distress inks. I also coloured, cut out and mounted the life-buoy image:

Here's what I used for my card:
Set of decorative brads Summer Joy 1
Scrapbooking paper set 6"*6" Summer Joy 170gms (24 sheets/set)
Set of stamps 10,5*10,5cm Bunny - Sailor
Set of cards 35 pcs Summer Joy

See you later!

Primavera Card

It's Romy here today and I would like to show you a card I made with the gorgeous Primavera collection. I love the botanical images in this collection and some of them are perfect to cut out. So I took out my scissors and made this card.

ScrapBerry's supplies:
Primavera papers:
Ephemera (SCB220609001)
Dreamcatcher (SCB220609003)
Cards 1 (SCB220609007)
Cards 2 (SCB220609008)

Set of embellishments № 1 Delight (SCB340001082)

I cut out two brown cards from the Cards 2 sheet and layered them on top of each other. The upper card was attached on top of a piece of cardboard to lift it. I then cut out the image of the two birds and adhered it onto the card. After that I cut out two feathers, three butterflies and a flower cluster as well and used them to accentuate the image of the birds.

I also added a Primavera button as a nice detail on my card.

I hope you enjoyed my post.
Thank you for stopping by!

Elegantly Simple Cards by Maja

Hi there, ScrapBerry's fans :-)

Today I have a set of two cards to share that I made some time ago for one of our tv special kits. The cards come from the Elegantly Simple kit, which apart from the papers included also flowers, ribbons and resin and metal embellies.

I really like this collection, with its simple, basic patterns and cut-outs sheet that gives the projects a totally different look :-) And the colour palette is perfect for summery cards, sweet as sugar candy :-) For one of the cards I used the small paper pads to create a patchwork background:

Then I mounted some images and the heart I cut out from the cut-outs sheet in the centre of the card and added some vitnage ribbon bows, strings and resin flowers:

The other card contains a small gift too:

I first layered a couple of large and small patterned papers and then made a topper tag with holes through which I put the decorative flower pin.

Here's the list of supplies I used:
Paper Collection Set Elegantly Simple (12*12–190GSM)
Paper Collection Set Elegantly Simple – Limpet Shell (6*6-190GSM)
Paper Collection Set Elegantly Simple - Rose Quartz (6*6-190GSM)
Paper Collection Set Elegantly Simple - Iced Coffee (6*6-190GSM)
Shabby ribbon, light pink, 10mm, 1m
Set of chrysanthemums, Versailles 1 (resin)
Mini-flowers set (violet-white, light-rose, peach, white-yellow)

 See you later!

Forest Friends Tag

ScrapBerry's has recently released the brand new and oh so pretty Forest Friends collection. This collection has lots of fun animals and other elements printed on it, such as leaves, flowers and clouds. I decided to do lots of fussy cutting and made this tag with these papers.

ScrapBerry's supply list:
Forest Friends papers:
Hitching a Ride SCB220608604
Delicate SCB220608608
Twit Twoo SCB220608612
Decoration SCB220608613

Forest Friends Metal Embellishments (For You) SCB340001049
Shabby ribbon light yellow 15mm SCB510104

I cut out the owl, the clouds, the butterfly, the squirrle and the leaves from the Decoration sheet. I attached some of these elements with foamtape to make them stand out more. I further decorated my tag with a few wood hearts, some pearls and a sentiment. As a finishing touch I added a seam binding bow as well.

The lovely heart is a metal embellishment from ScrapBerry's. I thought it fitted the theme of my tag very well.
