Vintage Feminine Card by Maja

Hello everyone, welcome to the ScrapBerry's blog today :)

Today some countries in the world celebrate the Women's Day. Women - and in my boys' school also the girls ;) - receive flowers and small gifts. And so for today I made this delicate vintage card using the most "feminine" and romantic of the latest collections, Juliet:

For the background I used the Fairytale sheet on which I layered scraps I cut out from the Poetry paper. The sentiment is a chipboard word from the Holiday Romance set of chipboard pieces:

My main decorative element is a mannequin silhouette I cut out from the Elegance paper. I decorated it with a necklace I made combining a mini rose and crystals:

The mannequin has only a torso part and I wanted it to be standing, so I added a "stand" I made using mini roses and a chipboard filigree from the I Love Cooking set (I just love how I can combine various elements from different collections and they match perfectly!). I also ruffled satin ribbon between paper layers and added some cheesecloth for a more light and shabby look:

For my card I used:
One-Sided Paper (12*12 - 190gsm) Juliet - Fairytale
One-Sided Paper (12*12 - 190gsm) Juliet - Poetry
One-Sided Paper (12*12 - 190gsm) Juliet - Elegance
I Love Cooking 10x10 cm Chipboard Elements No. 2
Silk ribbon, white, 25mm, 2 m
Holiday Romance 10x10 cm Chipboard Elements No. 3

See you later!
