Elegantly Simple Cards by Maja

Hello everyone, welcome to the ScrapBerry's blog :-)

Today I have some more romatic cards I made using the Elegantly Simple collection. Even though this collection is based upon simple patterns, the diecuts sheet makes it very easy to make romantic shabby chic cards! I just love the versatility this collection offers :-)

The first card is a birthday one. I used the pastel pink roses image and mounted in upon a background of papers in matching colours and decorated with glitter and a wodden clip. I also ruffled some ribbon under the image and added a beautiful acrylic heart and a resin decorative corner piece:

The second card would be good for St. Valentine's Day, or a less formal friend's wedding. Or just any occasion you wish to express love towards someone :-)

I made the sentiment by combining words cut out from tags, added a resin ornamental piece, the beautiful metal charm from the Vintage Circus set and a chipboard "love" piece from the Holiday Romance collection. I finished the card by adding some crystal accents and colouring the tiny chipboard heart with glitter :-)

Here's the list of supplies:
Decorative Wooden Clips (2,5cm) White
Acrylic decorations (12 piece set) Hearts
Silk ribbon, white, 25mm, 2 m
Set of polymer items 5 Ornately shaped decorations
Metal charms set Vintage Circus
Holiday Romance 10x10 cm Chipboard Elements No. 3

I hope you find my cards inspiring :-) See you later!

Girly Lay-out by Romy

I was in the mood for creating a soft and girly layout and the "Elegantly Simple" and "You and Me" collections are just perfect for that. I mixed these two collections to create this lay-out about my niece Elise, who is a real girly girl.

ScrapBerry's Supplies:
You and Me papers:
Perfect Together (SCB220606203)
P.S. I Love You (SCB220606205)
Just the Two of Us (SCB220606206)
You Make Me Smile (SCB220606209)

Juliet 12x12" Collection Pack (SCB220606209)
Elegantly Simple 12x12" Collection Pack (SCB220608100B)
Set of Polymer Items Fairy Tale Birds (SCB26002012)

I cut out some tags and hearts from the "You Make Me Smile" paper and attached them with foamtape on my lay-out.

Ik heb verschillende tags en hartjes uit het "You Make Me Smile" vel geknipt en heb deze met foamtape op mijn lay-out geplakt.

I also incorporated this lovely polymer bird from the Fairy Tale package on my layout. These polymer embellishments are definitely my favourite kind of embellishment from ScrapBerry's.

I hope you liked my lay-out.

Thank you for stopping by!

Sweet Romantic Card by Maja

Hello everybody, welcome to the ScrapBerry's blog today :)

Each of the ScrapBerry's latest collection's is so beautiful and different I really couldn't decide which one to cut first! . Finally I decided upon the Elegantly Simple collection which pastel colours and neutral designs give you so many possibilities of use! I created this sweet and romantic love card:

I was really charmed with those cute heart balloons, they look just as cotton candy :) I layered papers in different colours and patterns to create an interesting background.

I added a flowers cluster in matching colours and some cheesecloth to match the lightness of the image:

I finished off by adding accents with glitter and gems:

The list of products I used include:
Double-Sided Paper (12*12 - 190gsm) Elegantly Simple (Gift Wrap) Rose Quartz
Double-Sided Paper (12*12 - 190gsm) Elegantly Simple (Daisy Chains) Limpet Shell
Gardenia pale pink, a set of 4 pcs, dia 5cm

And which collection from the latest release is your favourite?

Two Cards by Romy

Hi ScrapBerry's fans!
It's Romy here and I would like to show you two cards I made using some pretty ScrapBerry's papers and embellishments.

My first card is a romantic and shabby chic one and features the gorgeous Holiday Romance collection.

ScrapBerry's Supplies:
Holiday Romance papers: 'Touching Story', 'Romance', 'Dream', 'Full of Mirth'
Set of Polymer Items Sea 3

I cut out the image from the 'Dream' paper and framed it with two wood frames. I further embellished my card with two lovely polymer seashells.

My second card is more masculine and features the amazing 'Mechanical Illusions' collection, which is just perfect for all kinds of masculine projects.

ScrapBerry's Supplies:
Mechanical Illusions 6x6 Paper Pad
Wind of Travel Metal Clocks
Adhesive Pearls Christmas Carol

I cut out a bunch of borders from the papers and punched alongside one of the edges of these borders. I then adhered these borders on the background of my card and further embellished it with chipboard images, metal gears and two metal clocks from ScrapBerry's.

I hope you liked my blogpost!
Thank you for stopping by!
