Guest designer Lisa Gregory made another gorgeous project. It's a foto folio in which you can store some of your favourite pictures. She made it with our lovely Butterfly collection.

Inside the foto folio there are several flip-over cards on which you can attach your photos. All these cards are made out of white cardstock and were then covered with the Butterflies papers. She also used a rhinestones curl on top of the flip-over book.

The foto folio is closed with a seam binding bow. Lisa covered both the cover and the sides of the foto folio with the 12x12" Butterflies papers.

Inside the foto folio, you see a couple of tags. You could for instance write down your journaling or the date on which the photos were taken on these tags.

Pink Mini Album by Valia Katzaki

Our guest designer Valia Katzaki worked magic with our wonderful Butterflies collection and some matching embellishments. Here's a lovely pink mini album that she made.

Sweetheart Cards by Maja

Hello, ScrapBerry's friends, welcome to the blog today!

Today I have another set of two cards to share that were presented during a Create and Craft tv programme featuring the Sweetheart kit.

The first card is shadowbox-like:

I stamped the couple under an umbrella image onto watercolour paper, coloured with Distress inks and mounted a die-cut frame upon it.

Then I added hearts I cut out from one of the patterned papers and decorated them with glitter and pearls:

Although the collection is all about romance, it's also easy to adapt for other purposes. My second card would be perfect for a boy's birthday:

I cut out the image of a boy in love, cut off the heart-shaped balloons, mounted some "boy stuff" elements around him and he doesn't look in love anymore ;-)

The kit presented on tv includes, among others, the following elements:

Paper set 6"*6" Sweetheart 170 gsm
Double-Sided Paper (12*12 -190gsm) Sweetheart You & Me
Set of clear stamps (10,5*10,5cm) Sweetheart – Beautiful
Set of clear stamps (7*7cm) Sweetheart – Boats & Balloons

That's all from me today, I hope you have a good day!

Antique Shop Mini Album by Lisa Nazario-Gregory

Guest designer Lisa Nazario-Gregory wows us once again. This time she made a gorgeous mini album with our Antique Shop collection. Just look at all the amazing details that she incorporated in it. This project is definitely a true pleasure for your eyes.

ScrapBerry's supplies:
Curly Rose flowers white SCB280601
Gardenia Flowers Soft Blue SCB290105
Holiday romance chipboard die cuts SCB62000105
FairyTale adhesive pearls FairyTale 2 SCB25002008
Seaside polymer Sea 1 SCB26001015
Antique Shop 6x6 paper collection SCB220606008g
Metal Charms Set Envelope SCB25011474-1

This project is a mini album using the 6x6 Antique Shop papers. Lisa created the base of the mini album using chipboard and constructed the pocket pages and inserts with kraft paper. Then she covered the entire album from cover to pages with the 6x6 papers.

She also decorated the side of her mini album with a charm and a polymer ship's wheel.

On the cover of her mini album she used several chipboard pieces,  which she decorated with micro beads. She also used a few flowers and some pearls as a finishing touch.

This is what the inside of the mini album looks like. You could use this mini album for many different occasions. For instance, you could use it as a vacation journal or photo book.

We hope you liked today's project.
Thank you for stopping by and happy weekend!

Out to Sea Card by Yasmin Tölche

Hello Everyone! It's Yasmin here on the international Scrapberry's blog and I've pulled out some of my favorite papers from Scapberry's "Holiday Romance" and made a maritime card.

I did some serious fuzzy cutting on this.. I love to fuzzy cut and I love those papers I can find some elements with in the paper to use. The "Holiday Romance" collection are perfect for that.

I used a whole bunch of Scrapberry's products on this, all from papers to flair buttons and chipboard.  The sentiments means "Happy Birthday".

I also embellished with some Art Stones and real shells picked from the beach near my house. The cheesecloth I misted with some light blue mist.

Products used on my card:

Thank you so much for stopping by our blog today! Have a great summer day! :)

Primavera Lay-Out

ScrapBerry's has recently released the beautiful "Primavera" collection. This is definitely one of my favourite releases so far, so I couldn't wait to start playing with it. I made a feminine lay-out with this collection, using several of the cut out cards that come with this collection.

 ScrapBerry's supplies:
Primavera papers:
Cards 1 (SCB220609007)
Cards 2 (SCB220609008)
Ephemeral (SCB220609001)
Into the Parlour (SCB220609002)
Dreamcatcher (SCB220609003)
Set of Polymer Items Fairy Tale Birds (SCB26002012)
Set of embellishments № 4 Pleasure (SCB340001085)

I started out with the Ephemeral paper and matted it onto the Into the Parlour paper. I then created a nice design by layering different cards that I cut out from the papers on top of each other. I attached some of them with foamtape for a dimensional look.

I further decorated my lay-out with a few fussy cut butterflies, two flowers, two polymer birds and a few other small details. I also tucked a doily between the layers as a finishing touch.

 Thank you for stopping by!
Have a wonderful day!

Guest Designer Lisa Gregory-Nazario

We are excited to announce our second guest designer for July today. Her name is Lisa Gregory-Nazario and she does some of the most gorgeous shabby chic projects. Just wait till you see what gorgeous lay-out she has made for our blog today.

Hi, My name is Lisa and by profession I am a registered nurse. I am married to my high school sweetheart and we have 2 children who are now successful young adults.  I have been a crafter my whole life. I sew, embroider, crochet, paint and have dabbled in many crafty things in my life. Back in 2005, when my son was doing his senior project with his girlfriend (who is now his wife) They were creating a scrapbook of their lives. They elicited my help as I was the crafty one. We took a ride to The Dollar Tree (our local dollar store) who had a section dedicated to scrap booking  papers, albums, embellishments, flowers, and we grabbed everything we could find. I knew about the new way of scrap booking, but never gave it any thought until that trip to The
Dollar Tree. After helping the kids create their albums , which by the way turned out fabulous, I was curious as to where I could get more "scrap booking stuff". So I drove to our local craft stores. That is when I became hooked. Then I sought out the local scrapbook stores and found stuff I didn't even know existed until then. I shopped and shopped and shopped some more. I found and saw the kind of scrap booking the artists did. I was amazed at the styles. It just wasn't cut and paste and stickers. It was 3 dimensional, it was gorgeous, and oh so inspiring. So I created a gallery, created my first layout and the rest is history. My style has changed a bit throughout the years, but playing with paper and scissors is still so therapeutic for me.

For today's blogpost, Lisa has created a gorgeous lay-out with our Holiday Romance collection. She used distressing, fussy cutting and some lovely flowers to give her lay-out a very magical, fairytale-like look.

Lisa started by mounting the Holiday Romance background paper on a 12x12 piece of corrugated card board and distressed it from there. She created the flowers using a flower die and added the cherry blossom flowers to the middles spraying them the same color. Layering the flowers and cutouts around the framed photo, and building the layout from there.

This lovely butterfly image was cut out of one of the papers.

ScrapBerry's supplies:
Fairy Tale Adhesive Pearls/Fairy Tale 2 SCB25002008

Cherry Blossom Flowers White 10 piece set SCB300201

Other products used:

We thank Lisa for sharing this gorgeous lay-out with us.
Stay tuned for more of Lisa's wonderful work really soon.
