Saturday Inspiration: a Tag and a Gift Box

Hi ScrapBerry's fans!

We hope you're having a wonderful Saturday. Today we would like to provide you with some crafty inspiration. We will show you two handmade projects you could give away to a dear friend or family member: a beautiful tag and a gift box.

Let's first have a look at the gorgeous tag that Maja Nowak made with our A Furry Little Story collection.

"When I first saw the A Furry Little Story collection, I immediately found it so very English! Some might consider its style naive or kitschy, but I do like the cute puppy and kitten images combined with classic English tea pottery roses.

I used the collection to make a tag that could be a nice gift to any cat lover."

"I combined the 12x12 papers with the small pad sheets to create a layered background of various shapes and die-cut elements."

"On top of it I placed a sweet kitten in a teacup image, which I cut out from one of the papers. I also added a buton from the collection and several handmade roses. Besides, I used a crystal flourish and a few pearl brads for some glam."

The second project for today is a very pretty gift box that our design team member Lydia Guijt made with the gorgeous Mother's Treasure collection. You will be amazed by all the pretty details that she included.

"Today I'm sharing a sweet baby gift with you that I made with the beautiful Mother's Treasure collection. In my stash I found this little box with a folded mini album inside. Since one of my friends is expecting a baby girl, I had the perfect reason to change this into a cute little gift."

"I covered the box with a mixture of the papers and inked the edges. The top of the box is decorated with the perfect polymer items from the Kids Fun collection. I also just love the little small flowers ScrapBerry's has in their collection. They are perfect for projects like this.

The mini album is also covered with the papers from the same paper collection and I decorated every page a little bit differently using some chipboard, ribbon, pearls or one of the many wonderful stamps. Below are some close-ups."
