Premium Quality Captain featuring The Pirate's Treasure

Happy Saturday to you, it's Rhonda here today to host the blog.

I am sharing a bit of Father's Day inspiration with you featuring 'The Pirate's Treasure' collection. There are so many fun elements in the collection for cut work, it made piecing the sentiment easy.

"Premium Quality Captain"

I used the Maps pattern paper and created my tent fold card base in an A2 size, 4.25 x 5.5".  Several die cuts were made from the collection papers and layered. I set them aside and selected my embellishments to cut from the Tags and Cards papers.

Once I cut the "Captain" flag, I also cut the tickets and barrels along with the map, circle and vellum tag.

Foam squares were used to provide dimension to the cut elements and allow the polymer starfish to tuck into the corner. I hope you've enjoyed my project today!

Colors of Life layout with Irit

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my second Scrapberry's post for May.
As usual one of my projects is a layout and this layout was made with gorgeous photos I took last Fall while travelling  in Macedonia and Albania.
The photos are from the lovely park in not so much known Albania.
So I used Mediterranean Dreams collection also both countries are not really Mediterranean ones, but just close.

I mostly used patterned cardstock to make this layout.
Lots of dies were grabbed to add some interest to my page.
One larger flowers cluster was added on the right corner of the lower photo over the cardstock title that says " Colors of life".
Yes, they sure have colors in Albania. Not sure how much of life they have in this poor, still very much communist small country of Eastern Europe.

Here is the cluster made with a tree die cut, some paper and some resin flowers.

And I sure added a hand written journalling:
Albania 2016.
Looks like Paradise.
Feels like 50 years ago.
And as I was born in a former communist country I know how it was looking .

I hope that you like my layout and my use of Scrapberry's new collection.

Time Flies - Card by Lydia Guijt

Hello Paper and ScrapBerry's friends!
Sharing with you a masculine card I made with the beautiful Words Live Forever collection.
The card would work great for Father's Day, Birthday or any occasion you like.

I started out with a couple of layers on the card with Tonight on Broadway and Memos. I got out one of my dies and used it with the 7th Street Library paper to cut out a frame. I used plain white card stock with a doily die. Fuzzy cut some pieces from the Postcards for Pennies sheet. Together with the gear chipboard piece I have all my layers sorted. Time to put it all together.

Stacking all the layers on top of each other makes the card come together nicely. Under the clock face I placed the ScrapBerry's - Wings. Although they're silver, I coated them to give it a  rustic look making it fit the theme of the card.
I hope you like the card!

Thank you for looking!

Spring Card by Maja

Good morning, dear visitors, welcome to our blog!

Today I have a cheerful and fresh spring card to share:

I must admit I'm not a fan of yellow. But when combined with light and juicy pink and fresh teal, like in the Cherished Jewels collection, it isn't that painful ;-) For me that combo is perfect for spring-themed projects. And so I layered many pieces to give a varied, colourful background:

Then I added the flower cluster, combining textile cherry blossom with ivory gardenias.

I also added some resin flowers and pearl accents:

As you can see, the card is also nicely dimensional :)

And here's the list of supplies:
Double-sided paper 12"*12" 190 gsm, Cherished Jewels, Deco Charms
Double-sided paper 12"*12" 190 gsm, Cherished Jewels, Tags Romance&Tiaras
Double-sided paper 12"*12" 190 gsm, Cherished Jewels, Princess Bouquet
Cherry Blossom (3 Piece set 30mm*110mm) Light Yellow
Gardenia cream, set 4 pcs, dia 5cm
Curls Around The World 1 (pearls swirl)
Epoxy Stickers French Journey

And so, even though I don't like yellow, I really like the way the card turned out, with many layers and delicate motives. What do you think?

Life's A Beach layout by Nicole Doiron

Hello everyone!  This is Nicole back with you today!

I created this beach-theme layout for my 2nd May DT reveal for ScrapBerry's.
It was also inspired by the current challenge from The Dusty Attic.

I found the perfect patterned papers for this layout in 2 ScrapBerry's collections
in my stash: Antique Shop and Holiday Romance.  I also used a few images
from the Cards papers from Mediterranean Dreams. I love how the Holiday Romance
'Nostalgia' patterned paper with its blue sky and seagulls match the sky in my photo.

I added several ScrapBerry's sea-themed items including metal charms from
different sets as well as beautiful Polymer items from the Sea 3 set.

 Lots of pretty seashells!

Don't you just love this rustic wood background paper from
the Antique Shop collection?  It's called very fittingly 'Ocean Depths'.

I am so lucky to live close to the ocean and be able to
take these beautiful scenic shots of the sea.

I hope that I've inspired you to create your own beach-theme project.

New Mom Shabby Mixed Media Card by Tracey Sabella

Hi everyone, it's Tracey back to share my latest project with you. Earlier I shared a Mothers Day card created for my dear mother. I've also created one for our sweet daughter-in-law who just celebrated her first Mothers Day. It features the Mother's Treasure 6x6" collection which includes an image of a sweet little girl playing with her doll, so perfect for this card! Even though Mothers Day is just past, this sweet card would also work as a baby shower card or to celebrate a birthday or other special event for a little girl.

Tips and Techniques
The gorgeous focal flower is a ScrapBerry's Light Pink Gardenia. I've surrounded it with smaller roses from my stash and leaves die cut from scraps of paper then colored with green ink.

Every card needs a little bling, so I cut up a piece of the ScrapBerry's Wedding 1 Curls set to tuck in around the cluster. I've layered the flowers over a twine bow and a doily inked for a vintage look.

The paper layers are distressed with the edge of a scissors blade, then inked to give a vintage feel. I stenciled diagonally across the card for a touch of soft texture and added a few splashes of white ink.

I hope you've been inspired to pull out your ScrapBerry's products
and find a few moments to create something special.
