Happy Father's day Mixed Media tag with Irit

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my second June post made for Scrapberry's.
This month we celebrate Fathers Day. So it was a great occassion to make something for this celebration.
I decided to make a Mixed Media tag with Scrapberry's products and to show that you can add Mixed Media products  to non Mixed Media line.
So with some stencils, paints, Steampunk chipboards added I got this fancy Steampunk Fathers Day tag:

Each and every paper piece on this project is from Scrapberry's Words Live Forever collection.
There quite a few layers and I made a side photo shot to show you all these layers:

I added some stencilled words on the second top layers, but after I covered it with the top layer and the embellishments it's hardly seen.
The top layer was made with a stencil, texture paste and shimmery embossing powder.
All chipboard piece were painted with DecoArt paints and then covered with crackle glaze and misted over when dry.
The Scrapberry's metal wings and resin bird were painted with a mix of delicate acrylic paints.
Then I made layered die cut sentiment and heat embossed the paper with black powder.

So as you can see this Sscrapberry's collection is a perfect fit for any masculine, Steampunk and Mixed Media project.

Happy moment - mixed media canvas by Aida

Hello, it's Aida here and today I want to show you my mixed media canvas with all the Scrapberry's goodies.
I have created the colorful background using only Scrapberry's Stains inks and sponge brushes, you can see few steps of the process below.
After I was happy with the results I've added some stencil designs and then few layers of Primavera papers, beautiful flowers and other embellishments to my project.
Here is the final result:

To create similar background use 2-3 colors of stain inks, sponge brush and some water to make your sponge wet.  You can apply the ink directly from the pad

or mix with water first to make more watercolor effect.
You can also add the same diluted colors on your elements using a brush

here are the details of final project:

Girly Layout by Maja

Good morning, the ScrapBerry's fans, welcome to the blog!

Today I have a delicate girly layout to share that I made using the beautiful Birds of Paradise collection:

On the green leafy background I layered pieces of several papers from the collection and added a title from the cut-outs sheet:

For the journaling piece I used another tag cut out from the elements sheet. Then I added some crystal swirls and a button:

From scraps of papers I punched some flags and created a banner, inside of which I placed the flower cluster and resin embellies. I also cut out a large bird to decorate the scene:

I really like the way the layout turned out, bold coloured yet delicate and girlishly romantic. What do you think?
And here's what I used:
Double-Sided Paper (12*12 – 180gsm) Birds of Paradise – Flowers
Double-Sided Paper (12*12 – 180gsm) Birds of Paradise – At Sunset

Mediterranean Dream Mixed Media Card by Tracey Sabella

Hi everyone! It's Tracey here, and I have a sweet summer birthday card to share with you featuring the bold and beautiful Mediterranean Dreams Collection. I just adored working with these fabulous summery colors.

Close-ups

I've used two sheets of the gorgeous Mediterranean Dreams 6x6 Paper Collection for the card base and border. The Borders page had a strip that included the lovely blue flowers that I fussy cut and tucked into the cluster. I added Prills to the flower centers for added texture. The dream sentiment is cut from the Cards 1 page and placed it on a chipboard element to pop it up and create a focal point.

Don't you simply adore texture? To color the molding paste, I rubbed Blue Stains Ink onto a craft mat and mixed it into the paste to create a perfectly colored paste to coordinate with the card colors. I used a stencil with a circular design to place this beautiful ScrapBerry's Floral Embroidery Crystal Sticker as well as a few clear domes from my stash. I've also scattered some Prills and chunky glitter for added texture.

The beautiful metal Rosebud Charm and Fairy Tale Resin Flower are painted with gesso, then colored with Blue Stains Ink.

To soften, I've dry brushed gesso lightly across the background as well as over the flowers and leaves.

Father Lay-Out for Father's Day

Hi!
It's Romy here and in honour of Father's Day I have a brand new lay-out to share with you. This is a masculine lay-out I made about my dad with the wonderful Words Live Forever collection.

I used many different layers of papers and teared the edges of one of the sheets. After that, I used washi tape and chipboard pieces to accent the photo of my father. I used ScrapBerry's embellishments, such as metal clocks, a resin clock and a wood sentiment, to further embllish my lay-out.

I framed my photo with two chipboard frames (one rectangular and one circle shaped) and decorated the edges of the frame with different embellishments. I also added a few polymer frames at random spots on my lay-out as a finishing touch.

Birds of Paradise Cards by Maja

Good morning, dear Visitors, welcome to the Scrapberry's blog :)

It's beginning to feel more and more like summer - so for my today's post I made two cards using the collection that reminds me of summer holidays in a hot exotic place - Birds of Paradise :)

The collection contains plenty of cut-out images, both in one-sided special sheets and regular patterned papers. And I combined them into dimensional cards good for any occasion. Both use birds as focal images. Here's the first one, with a button and paper feathers, and crystal swirls for some glam:

In the other card I arranged cut out elements into a mini scene of a bird sitting on a blossoming branch. I also decorated the embossed sentiment with little crystals:

And here's the list of supplies I used:
