Fall lay-out with 3 different collections

It's Romy here and I would like to show you a fall lay-out that I made for the ScrapBerry's blog. I always love working with warm colours and beautiful patterns and ScrapBerry's has the perfect papers for just that! I actually mixed 3 different collections on this lay-out: Words Live Forever, Primavera and Forest. I figured the colours of these three vintage collections matched quite perfectly.

I used many layers of paper on my lay-out, especially in the upper right corner. I inked all the edges of the papers and positioned my photo on top of them. I also used two cards, which I cut out from one of the Primavera sheets.

I framed my photo with a chipboard frame and embellished my lay-out with two Scrapberry's flowers, a flair button, a wood embellishment, rhinestones, a resin feather and several autumn-themed chipboard pieces.

ScrapBerry's Supply List:
Forest 12x12" papers
Primavera 12x12" papers
Words Live Forever paper Archive and Abacus (SCB220609304)
Wood Embellishment feather
Flair button I Love Cooking
Gardenia 7cm 4 pcs in a pack PEACH (SCB290204)

Rhapsody In Blue Cards by Maja

Welcome to the blog, dear ScrapBerry's friends :)

I must admit I rather seldom use navy blue in my projects. I happens occasionally with masculine projects, but I can't remember making a dark blue-based project. Until the ScrapBerry's released the Rhapsody In Blue collection and I made two birthday cards that I'd like to share with you today :-)

The first card features layered background with a die-cut sentiment, that I decorated with shabby ribbon, flower cluster with resin flowers and a flourish and a metal cameo charm.

For the other card I selected the polka dot paper for the background and added some intricate die-cut layers to balance the bold background.

I die-cut the sentiment from metallic silver cardstock and decorated it with flower ornaments that I hand-cut from the elements sheet. I also added some dimensional flowers and a metal charm:

I used the following supplies:
Double-sided paper 12"*12" 190 gsm, Rhapsody in Blue, Fleur Blue
Double-sided paper 12"*12" 190 gsm, Rhapsody in Blue, Blue Meadow
Double-sided paper 12"*12" 190 gsm, Rhapsody in Blue, True Blue
One-sided paper 12"*12" 190 gsm, Rhapsody in Blue, Cards 2
Cherry Blossom (10 piece set) White & Blue
Shabby ribbon, light blue, 10mm, 1m
Charms set Laurel Wreath 35*38mm

Which card is your favourite?
See you soon!

"Dream On" Altered Frame by Tracey Sabella

Hi everyone! It's Tracey here to share an altered frame with you featuring gorgeous ScrapBerry's flowers, stamps, and the Nature's Spirit Collection.

Football is a popular sport in northeast Ohio. My sister started a tradition back when our son was born, giving him his first Cleveland Browns outfit (our local team). When his daughter was born, of course she just had to give her a little Cleveland Browns cheerleader romper. Our daughter-in-law took this sweet photo of the two of them dressed for the start of football season recently, and I couldn't resist using the team's brown and orange colors to decorate the frame for this sweet photo that I will be giving to her.

I'm always on the look out for things to alter and recently found this wire flower pot frame in a thrift store. It was silver with dated enameled wire tulips across the top. I changed the color with alcohol inks and added beautiful ScrapBerry's products to transform it into a trendy mixed media home decor piece.

I've featured Brown Curly Roses paired with Yellow and Orange Stemmed Lilies across the top of the frame. I die cut the leaves from one of the Nature's Spirit sheets in the 6x6" pad, crinkled them, and rubbed with ink to highlight the texture. They fit perfectly over the metal leaves that are part of the frame. For added texture and to hide the wire stems, I added pearls and prills.

I just adore these sweet leaves from ScrapBerry's Free Spirit stamp set. I stamped them onto white cardstock with permanent black ink, fussy cut, then blended blue and green Stains Ink Pads over them to color along with a little bit of Vintage Photo Distress Ink to add a grungy feel. The resulting teal color pairs perfectly with the orange and brown flowers and "rusty" flower pot.

This sentiment from the Dream On Set is stamped and colored the same way as the feathers. Rather than fussy cutting, I tore around the words, then colored. And ahem, yes, the browns haven't had a winning season in a decade and only won a single game last year, so this sentiment is perfect!

Wild & Free Card with Fox

It's Romy here and I would like to show you a romantic and shabby chic card that I made with the wonderful Wild & Free collection. The moment I saw this collection, I immediately fell in love with the adorable fox image, so I decided to give it a prominent spot on a card.

I used different layers of paper to create a nice backdrop on my card, using the fox image as the central element. After that, I cut out a few butterflies, a flower and two circles from the Wild & Free papers and arranged them on my card.

I further embellished with a metal clock (one of my favourite ScrapBerry's embellishments!), a flair button, rhinestones and a few resin embellishments.
